Registration
To register at UCEDA International, students must please complete the online Application Form, receive a notification of acceptance by a school official, and pay a registration fee. Additional documentation will be requested for students who currently possess or will be applying for the F-1 student visa. Online applicants applying for initial status are charged a registration fee of $130. Students transferring from another institution who already possess F-1 visa status are charged only $100 at registration. All registration fees are non-refundable. Payment of registration fees to UCEDA INTERNATIONAL does not guarantee approval of F-1 visa status by the United States federal government.
Tuition and Fees
Annual tuition for a full-time, intensive program of study is listed at http://uceda.edu/tuition. Personalized programs of a reduced duration are also available. As a convenience for the sponsors of students who plan to study longer than three months, tuition payments may be divided into monthly installments. An Initial Tuition Deposit for the first and last month of your program must be received prior to your Program Start Date. Lab Fees of $60 are collected separately at the start of each course, to cover the cost of course materials, multimedia equipment, access to the computer lab, wireless internet connectivity, etc.
Timely payment of tuition and fees is a requirement for maintaining Active student status. For students paying tuition on a monthly basis, tuition is due on the 1st calendar day of every month. Any tuition payment that is not received by the second day of the month will be subject to a Late Fee of $30, which will increase by $1 per day until full payment is received. The Lab Fee for each new course must also be paid on time. The grace period for Lab Fees is the first week of class. Failure to pay Lab Fees during the first week of a new course will result in Late Fee penalties of $1 per day until payment is received. Students who are more than 30 days overdue may be suspended from classes until their account is paid in full. This can affect your academic progress, and can lead to termination of student status, so please keep your account in good standing and come to class every day.
Withdrawal and Refunds
Due to the labor and systems involved in processing new student information and preparing required course materials, all fees are non-refundable: including Registration Fees, Lab Fees, and Late Fees. Similarly, refunds cannot be given for the Initial Tuition Deposit (first and last month’s tuition) or for the tuition of programs with durations of three months or less. Other tuition refunds will be calculated on a pro-rated basis according to the remaining unused months of tuition paid on the student’s account, minus a $100 Early Withdrawal Fee for withdrawals prior to the Program End Date listed on the USCIS form I-20, if applicable. The Early Withdrawal Fee will be waived for any student who applies for a change of non-immigrant status and receives a denial from USCIS. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of student’s withdrawal or termination from the program. Please allow 30 days for processing. Requests for tuition refunds may be submitted in writing to the local UCEDA branch where you attend, or by fax to 973-653-3495.
